ALEXANDRITE

Founded back in 1830s in the Ural Mountains of Russia, the Alexandrite stone or known as "emerald by day, ruby by night" has the color-changing ability to reddish color when exposed to light with red rays. This metamorphosis is called Pleochroism and it is what makes this stone highly valuable. The stone is now can be find in Sri Lanka, East Africa, and Brazil.

Alexandrite stone is the birthstone for those who are born in June and also the anniversary stone for the 55th year of marriage. This gemstone has been thought to bring luck, good fortune and love, balance between physical manifest world and astral world.
